When staff enters time using a leave benefit that requires approval, you will see those entries in the supervisor system (Reports-->Time Supervisor under Leave Approval).
Click the "Approve" button to approve the entry, or enter a short reason for disapproval and click the "Disapprove/Send Note" button.  This will create an Internal Message to the person requesting leave showing the reason their leave request was denied.  The staff person should change or remove their request.
When approved, the leave request should no longer be shown.  If denied, it will continue to show with the reason it was denied.
If approved and you later need to remove that approval, you can do that in the "Remove Leave Approval" section.  Note that that is logged.

Standard Payroll Leave Use

Staff Use

Leave Entry

To request or take leave, merely enter a new time sheet using the appropriate time activity. Once this is entered, a supervisor will be able to see the request and approve or deny it. If approved, this time entry will be locked. If you need to change it, a supervisor will need to remove approval.

Time Sheet Entry/Approval

Once any requested leave is approved (if necessary) you can review, approve, and enter your time sheet (Reports-->Staff Time Sheet). Once entered and approved, time entries covered by the time sheet will be locked from changing. If you need to change the underlying time, remove your approval of the time sheet. (Reports-->Pending Time Sheets and hit delete). If a supervisor has already approved the time sheet, they must remove their approval before staff removes their approval.
