Testing Internet Speed
Sometimes things may appear to be slow when working with Internet capable system. To help determine where the cause may be located, try the following:
1) In a web browser go to: https://speedtest.net Wait for the main page to load. Toward the lower-right of the large circle, click the "Change server" option. In the search box, type in "Jackson" and then choose the "Jackson, MS - C Spire option. Then click the large "Go". Take a screen shot of the results page and send to me. Those results should look like this:
2) Open a terminal box (Windows+R, type in 'cmd' and hit enter). In the terminal window, type in the following and then hit return: tracert 68.216.176.126 Let this run for a while. When it appears finished, take a screen shot of the entire box (you may have to resize it) and send to me. Those results should look like this:
