Form Letters
Appearance
This works the same as Form Letters described in Eligibility. This allows you to edit the full letter. You can:
i) Modify any or all text in the letter without exporting it to Word
ii) Save the full text of the letter in your notes.
iii) When the user generates a letter, instead of clicking on the Print Preview button, the user clicks on the Edit Full Letter button. This brings up the full letter in a form window, where any text can be added, moved, cut, etc.
iv) The full text of the letter is stored in Case Notes rather than just the text that was added.
v) Steps
- (a) Choose Form Letters from Intake Page 3
- (b) The Print Forms box opens. This allows you insert Canned Notes, Canned Questions or your own custom message. Added text can be placed at the top or bottom of the letter.
- (c) Choose the Letterhead
- (d) Click on the Edit Full Letter button. This opens up the body of the letter and allows you to change or rearrange any part of the letter
- (e) Here we change the letter to say we know the client’s address is going to change. We also tell the client to return the enclosed envelope with their new address. We then click on Generate Letter.
- (f) Notice that we are given the choice to save the full text of the letter in our notes.
- (g) This is a preview of the form letter with the changes.
