Language Report
A new report is available to help with LSC CSR reporting. For client reporting, this report will take entered languages and break them down into the categories within the CSR Report.
To do this, a new table is added with the CSR language categories. A new field is added to the language table to link existing entries to those categories. When installed, standard, three-letter entries are automatically categorized for you to help save you time (e.g., the “ENG” entry for English, is put in the “English Only” category). Older versions using a single letter entry (such as “E” for “English”) are not automatically categorized.
A new, Administrative language form allows you to (1) quickly see any language that hasn’t been categorized, (2) categorize any language that you add and (3) change the category of a language as you desire:

To access the Administrative language form, go to your systems “Setup Tables” form and choose subLanguage. For example, in the version 16 ribbon bar, go to AdminSetup FunctionsSetup Tables and choose the “Multi – Languages | subLanguage” entry.
To make your LSC reporting easy, a new report is added to the Client QBF screen. That allows you to specify whatever criteria you may desire to run the report. The final report mimics the layout of the CSR Report, showing you the number of cases within each category:

To run this report, go to your reporting system and choose the r2017CSRLanguage report from within the client system. Within the Clients QBF page, make the appropriate entries regarding case criteria, and then run the report. For example, in the version 16 ribbon bar, go to ReportsReports Selector. Within Client/Client Data, choose the r2017CSRLanguage report.
[Please note: in the example report, above, the 145 client records showing without a category indicates that their language was entered as “Unknown” or some other language that was not categorized. Check your language entries to ensure all valid languages have a category entry. Then check your client records for an appropriate language entry.]
