Lawyers

Locates one or more PBI Lawyers by selected criteria.

1) We chose to display the cases for lawyer Jefferson.

2) Note that lawyers with no ongoing case are tinted yellow.

3) Lawyers no longer on the panel are grayed out.

4) OnPanel – Narrow your search by checking this box to see only the lawyers on panel

5) Note – Allows you to search for a word or phrase in lawyers’ notes

6) Counties Served and Case Type – Narrow your search by selecting a county and/or a case type (problem)

7) Multi Criteria – Allows you to narrow your search by various criteria related to the PBI Lawyer

i) Match any types of cases, counties of practices, and languages by clicking on them. To deselect them, click on them again or select clear selections ii) You can also filter by panels that attorneys are members of or types of services they are willing to handle iii) After you enter your selections, click on Apply Search to get new search results based on the criteria you have entered

Cases

Allows you to see the cases the selected Lawyer has handled. We showed this in our first example.

Contacts

Allows you to see the detailed information about your contacts with the selected volunteer without having to open a lawyer’s record

Lawyers Web Registration

Retrieves registrations volunteer lawyers made online using the PBI Lawyer/Referral Portal (Described in Advanced Features Volunteer Attorney/PBI Portal)

Law Firm

Allows for the easy location and display of individual law firms
